im usually not a big fan of wedges, but lately there have been quite a few that have grabbed my attention. although these are probably a few inches too short for me to be really happy about wearing but the straps, color and sparse but intelligently place hardware make these a big fat YES.

so its summer. school's out. (and back in....but thats another story.) its hot. poolin' it everyday. listening to katy perry's "california girls" on repeat. time for sexy little bits of fabric we call summer clothing. hello spray tan and liquid diets. =]

seriously. i have about a zillion shoes, but they are for sure no where near as exquisite as these babies. and sadly, becuase i am a lowly college dame, they remain in their boxes stacked on a shelf in my closet. i can't wait for the day that i have a house of my own and i can have the most fabulous closet/dressing room on the planet. As the wise and witty Carrie Bradshaw would say, "Don't give me a diamond, just give me a big cloest!"

its raining, its pouring...

so im supposedly on spring break right now. you coulda fooled me because its 330 in the afternoon and the only light in this room is coming from my laptop screen. its pouring down rain and chilly.
i guess i've been getting some relaxation time: lazed around the house with the Mom, went out in atlanta last night got a little tipsy and danced my tush off, shopping downtown tomorrow...i cant really complain.
i ordered legit stripper heels this morning...one of the lovely ladies i work with and i seem to be obsessed with borderline pornographic fashion lately, so we felt those heels would work their way into our wardrobes and spice things up a bit!
all i want to be doing right now is laying on the beach, soaking up rays of skin cancer, drinking something fruity and giggling at cute surfer boys. or at the very least be running around an outdoor concert in cutoffs and tshirts that have been practially ripped to shreds. too bad atlanta is monsooning....

i need a job in which it is acceptable to wear a bustier at all times.
scratch that, i need a life in which it is acceptable to wear a bustier at all times. if only i was miss Belle de Jour or a Wild Fox girl i could probably get away with it...but sadly, i am not.
think small town florida will find my current obsession out of line?

Mattel and Christian Louboutin are getting together to give the golden girl a fashion upgrade! He will serve as a yearlong godfather to Babs and is not only overhauling her fashion choices and actual bod, he's art directing her in well, basically, the editorial of her life!

"The project includes the Barbie-pink, red-soled Louboutin shoes that premiered in Barbie’s birthday runway show during New York Fashion Week in February, a Barbie doll and accessories collection customized by the designer and a diary filled with images of Louboutin and Barbie as they explore the cobbler’s favorite things. Louboutin knew there were certain changes he wanted to make to his three customized dolls, which are inspired by Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe...She needed great shoes, a thinner ankle and, to me, as I’m obsessed with feet, a foot more curved,” the designer said."
The three dolls, packaged in Louboutin shoe boxes, each come with four pairs of Barbie-size Louboutin heels. In December, Mattel will unveil Louboutin’s jewel thief-themed Barbie; in February, it will add a safari-themed Barbie, and for May, Louboutin designed a Barbie that goes to the Cannes Film Festival. The $150 dolls will be sold through BarbieCollector.com and at Net-a-porter.com, which is Mattel’s exclusive partner for this project and will be selling dolls for the first time. In September, both sites also will offer a Christian Louboutin Barbie shoe collection of 12 pairs for $40 a set.

Depp and Burton are at it again! Alice in Wonderland gone AMAZING. these images were just released by USA Today and I am thoroughly excited to experience the changes that were made. Apparently, Alice got a dose of serious girl power. "Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember."
