i really wish i had a better background for the pictures i take of myself. i usually have to clear some sort of space in a random corner of my room across from a surface that is the proper height for whatever kind of stange contortions im planning on capturing. i really should just invest in a tripod (or a photographer), and venture outside of my room to take these pictures. i get these creative ideas but they aren't exactly do-able by oneself. i know the boy has recently stumbled across this blog so im sure i can coax him into helping me out. maybe we can be the next rumi and colin =P bahaha, i wish. wore this to work. as usual. desperately craving a shopping spree, but also trying to actually SAVE money right now. whhhaaaaat? you say. yeah, i know im shocked too. and of course everything i want probably adds up to a zillion dollars. and just checked my direct deposit paycheck---not a zillion dollars. looks like im SOL. hmph. its nearly 2am, im wide awake with a tummy full of fro yo (about to vom) and listening to "hello goodmorning" on effing repeat. TI, P Diddy, Rick Ross...whaaaaaa? um yesplease. no, but really. whats wrong with me? oh and i was finally forced into the world of twitter. not really sure what that involves but im looking forward to adding one more internet-based obession into my life. wooohooooo. <3

POOL DAY!!!

it was a lovely hot hot hot sunny day on saturday. took advantage and went to the pool for a few hours to soak up the sun. there were about a zillion people there, drinking, talking, dancing, tanning, playing volleyball...it was like a mini spring break at my pool. very entertaining. =] this was deemed an appropriate cover up to wear from my apartment to the pool. it got even more 80s inspired when my hair somehow got into a side ponytail. hehe =]
annnnnd i got a tattoo!!! its a hanger on my inner elbow. =D

its raining, its pouring...

so im supposedly on spring break right now. you coulda fooled me because its 330 in the afternoon and the only light in this room is coming from my laptop screen. its pouring down rain and chilly.
i guess i've been getting some relaxation time: lazed around the house with the Mom, went out in atlanta last night got a little tipsy and danced my tush off, shopping downtown tomorrow...i cant really complain.
i ordered legit stripper heels this morning...one of the lovely ladies i work with and i seem to be obsessed with borderline pornographic fashion lately, so we felt those heels would work their way into our wardrobes and spice things up a bit!
all i want to be doing right now is laying on the beach, soaking up rays of skin cancer, drinking something fruity and giggling at cute surfer boys. or at the very least be running around an outdoor concert in cutoffs and tshirts that have been practially ripped to shreds. too bad atlanta is monsooning....

ok so this "dress" is most definitely a shirt. yeah yeah i know but hey im 5'2 everything is a gosh darn dress on me. daddy got me the cardi for xmas and he was vurrry proud of his selection. my exclamations of "omg i need a light gray cardigan! ohh it feels so nice!" made him grin like a crazy person. daddy loves my style. he always says "you look cute" in a surprised fashion when my mother kind of rolls her eyes and says "thats my daughter..." but they wouldnt love me if i didnt bring them to the verge of heart attack on a regular basis. ahhh family.
definitely sitting in my classroom, an hour early for class using the internet to waste more time of my life scrolling through pictures of stripper height stilettos and overly baggy, beautifuly deconstructed items on incredibly beautiful tragically thin girls.
you'd think on a college campus, the internet would be reliable and ummmm present? wtf...shit just kicked me off in the middle of loading the alexander wang collection. ruuuude. seriously internet? not cool. if you couldnt tell, im already hopped up on a venti skinny cinnamon dolce latte and probably craving another. the caffeine gives me a lovely little buzz that gets me through an hour of a class which i have practically taken in 3 different forms at various institutions ive attended in the past few years. oh and not to mention the absolutely perfect boy that sits next to me everyday and shares with me the "hunk du jour" and giggles when the professor inadvertantly makes strange sexual innuendos. omgilovehim.
